A busy day at John Taylor Memorial Field will kick off with a Lakeland University soccer doubleheader with both the women's and men's teams facing Rockford University Saturday in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matches.

The Muskies women's soccer team will take on the Regents at 11:30 a.m., with the Lakeland and Rockford men's teams to follow at 2 p.m. The games are part of a tripleheader at Taylor Field on the day, as the soccer matches will be followed by the Muskies football team hosting UW-Platteville at 6 p.m.

Both soccer matches will feature teams looking for their first NACC wins early in the season. The Lakeland women's team (1-6-1 overall, 0-2 NACC) has faced a pair of the conference's top teams, with losses to Concordia Wisconsin and MSOE, while Rockford (0-8-1 overall, 0-2 NACC) also has lost to Concordia Wisconsin plus Wisconsin Lutheran.

The Muskies men's squad and Rockford both come in with 3-6-1 overall records, with Lakeland 0-1 in conference after a 3-0 loss at MSOE Wednesday and the Regents 0-1 after a 6-1 loss to Concordia Wisconsin the same night.
