PLYMOUTH, Wis. - Hanna Lech scored three goals and St. Norbert College made itself at home in its first-ever Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game, defeating the Lakeland University women's soccer team 6-0 Wednesday night at Taylor Field.
The Green Knights scored three times in each half and the Muskies remained winless on the season. Lakeland dropped to 0-5 overall while St. Norbert improved to 2-2.
The visiting Green Knights scored most of their goals from long distance, with four goals coming from shots outside the 18-yard box and a fifth coming from a header off a corner kick. Lech scored all three of her goals on long shots, including her first 11 minutes, 31 seconds into the match and her second in the 25th minute that gave SNC a 2-0 lead.
St. Norbert added a third goal at 38:02 of the match when Mallory Names headed in a corner kick by Katelyn Kane. The Green Knights added goals in the second half by Lizzie Guerin, Emily Names and then Lech again in the 74th minute from 20 yards out off the fingers of goalkeeper

Lakeland was held scoreless for the third straight match, with its best chance coming near the end of the first half.

Sr.-Hartford, Wis.) got to the rebound in the box and her follow shot hit the crossbar.
St. Norbert outshot Lakeland 29-7 for the match. Rich made 13 saves for the Muskies in 90 minutes in goal while Collins stopped two shots for St. Norbert.
