Series history: Lakeland and Concordia have been meeting on the soccer field for nearly 40 years, with a series that dates back to 1984. Though complete records aren't available, the Falcons have dominated the series recently and overall. Concordia holds a 28-4-4 series lead since 1991 and is undefeated in the last 20 meetings, with a 16-0-4 mark since the Muskies' last win. Lakeland last defeated Concordia on Oct. 4, 2000, recording a 3-2 win in overtime. The Falcons have won the last eight meetings, including a 5-0 victory in Mequon in the season finale last year. The Muskies last earned a tie against Concordia in 2010, playing to a 2-2 draw that year as all four goals were scored in the first 24 minutes.

Lakeland last time out: Lost at Illinois Tech 3-0 Saturday
The Muskies played on the road for the final time this season and fell to the Scarlet Hawks in Chicago. IIT scored the first goal in the 26th minute, and the score stayed that way until midway through the second half when the hosts scored twice in a stretch of less than five minutes. Henry Eriksen and Andres Gonzalez posted two shot attempts each and Ben Taylor made three saves in goal.

Lakeland is closing out a tough season that included a good start in non-conference play before struggles in the tough Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Muskies went 2-0-2 in their first four matches but are 1-10-1 since. Lakeland has scored at least one goal in six of its nine NACC losses, and Michecadet Gethand has moved into a tie for eighth in the conference with five assists this year.

Concordia last time out: Won by forfeit at Concordia Chicago Saturday
The Falcons played to a 1-1 draw on the field against their fellow Concordia in River Forest, Ill., but that result was thrown out Monday after it was found CUC played with an ineligible player. The result is the game goes in the books as a win for CUW, a big development in the race for the NACC Tournament. Entering Wednesday's final day of conference play, Concordia Wisconsin is one of six teams separated by just one point in the chase for the final four spots in the conference tourney, with the Falcons, St. Norbert Wisconsin Lutheran and St. Norbert all with 21 points and Benedictine, Dominican and Marian with 20 points each. CUW can clinch a spot in the tourney with a win over Lakeland.
