Series history: Lakeland and Concordia have been meeting on the soccer field for nearly 40 years, with a series that dates back to 1984. Though complete records aren't available, the Falcons have dominated the series recently and overall. Concordia holds a 31-4-4 series lead since 1991 and is undefeated in the last 26 meetings, with a 22-0-4 mark since the Muskies' last win. Lakeland last defeated Concordia Oct. 4, 2000, recording a 3-2 win in overtime. The Falcons have won the last 14 meetings, including a close 2-1 victory in Mequon a year ago this week. The Muskies last earned a tie against Concordia in 2010, playing to a 2-2 draw that year as all four goals were scored in the first 24 minutes.

Lakeland last time out: Lost at St. Norbert 5-0 Wednesday
The Muskies fell to one of the top teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference on the road, as the Green Knights made the most of their opportunities. St. Norbert scored on five of its six shots on goal, tallying three goals in the first half and two more in the second. Lakeland had opportunities in the match with eight shot attempts, including four shots on goal, several from close range.

The Muskies enter their NACC finale still with a chance at the NACC Tournament. Lakeland will need a win over Concordia Wisconsin and also help in the form of losses or ties by Marian and Wisconsin Lutheran to nab the final spot in the tourney.

Concordia last time out: Lost to Illinois Tech 3-2 Wednesday
The Falcons lost in tough fashion at home Wednesday night, as the Scarlet Hawks scored the winning goal with just 18 seconds left in the match. Concordia had come back from a 2-0 deficit 18 minutes into the match, closing with 2-1 in the first half on a goal by Nevin Volarath and tying it in the 70th minute with Lukas Olson's first goal of the season. CUW also is battling for a spot in the NACC Tournament, and the Falcons have made the tourney every year but one since the NACC's first year in 2006.
