Four members of the Lakeland University women's soccer team received academic honors when College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) recently released its NCAA Division III Academic All-District Teams.
Student-athletes receiving recognition for the Muskies included juniors
Caris Jaeger (
Sheboygan, Wis.) and
Ines Rodriguez (
Newark, Calif.) and sophomores
Malaya Sperber (
Cedar Grove, Wis.) and
Alyssa Voigt (
New Holstein, Wis.).
The awards are based on combined performances in the classroom and on the court. To be eligible, the nominee must be a starter or important reserve, have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
Sperber was a second-year member of the team this year while Jaeger, Rodriguez and Voigt all played their first seasons for the Muskies. Sperber was an honorable mention all-NACC selection and is majoring in psychology, while Jaeger joined the women's soccer team after playing basketball as a freshman and is majoring in marketing. Rodriguez was a transfer this year and is majoring in business administration and Voigt came out for the team after transferring into Lakeland and is majoring in marketing.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions-NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
