Muskies take two in home triangular, defeating Maranatha Baptist and Olivet

Box Score 1 | Box Score 3 PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Lakeland University was in control in both matches and earned two wins its first home men's volleyball triangular of the season, sweeping Maranatha Baptist University and the University of Olivet (Mich.) Saturday afternoon at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

The Muskies defeated Maranatha Baptist 25-13, 25-11, 25-14 in the opening match of the day, and then downed Olivet 25-12, 25-17, 29-27 later in the day. Lakeland improved to 3-2 overall on the young season.

Olivet earned a set point at 24-23 after a kill by Payton Hastings, but Sage Xiong (So.-Erie, Colo.) responded with a kill and the Muskies would get to match point four times.
