Mitchell Fucile (
So.-Chilton, Wis.) scored the only win on the mat for the Lakeland College wrestling team, which lost a dual meet with Milwaukee School of Engineering by a 37-10 score Wednesday night at the Wehr Center Fieldhouse.
Fucile defeated Garret Gross at 165 pounds, scoring a 15-5 major decision win. Teammate
Eddie Terres (
Jr.-Escanaba, Mich.) also added a forfeit win at 184 lbs. to account for the Muskies' other win.
The Northern Wrestling Association dual meet consisted of just four matches, as Lakeland is down to five current wrestlers at the time. MSOE also entered just eight wrestlers, but the Raiders claimed forfeit wins at 125, 133, 141, 149 and 197 lbs.
Of the other three matches contested, the closest was at 149 lbs., where TreJon House of MSOE won a 4-0 decision over Lakeland's
Mat Gonzalez (
Jr.-Manistique, Mich.). The Raiders' Peter Kootstra also defeated
Mason Lind (
Fr.-Brandon, Wis.) by technical fall (18-2), and Jose (Luis) Hernandez also won by technical fall over
Andrew Wagner (
Sr.-West Bend, Wis.).
