Season Highlights

Muskies posted their best winning percentage in duals since the 2013-14 season and most dual wins in a season since 2007-08
Lakeland posted five all-region wrestlers, its most in a season since 2013-14
Four Muskies received the NWCA Scholar All-American award, most ever in a single season
Team also received the NWCA Team Scholar All-America Award, coming in 20th in the NWCA D3 Men's Scholar Team Top 30 list, also the program's highest finish ever
In head coach Mike DeRoehn's first four seasons of his second tenure with the program, the Muskies have improved in every statistical category-wins, pins, technical falls, takedowns, reversals, near falls, riding time-across the entire roster from 2022-23 to 2025-26
Muskies also improved their individual win-loss percentage to 55.0%, with a cumulative 164-131 record among all wrestlers in contested matches
Lakeland defeated eventual Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Showcase champion MSOE in the team's regular season dual, as Diego Morales rallied for a pin in the final seconds to give the Muskies a 22-21 win
The team's 200 individual wins for the roster was the most in a season since before 2013
Jesse Burg's 30 individual wins are tied with Mitchell Fucile (2013-14) for the 13th-most in a season in program history
Will Ohman's 13 pins are tied with four others for the 11th-most pins in a season in school history
Evan Haferkorn moved into seventh in program history for career pins with 25, and Burg is now 10th all-time in pins with 23
Sixteen different wrestlers notched at least one match win
Nine wrestlers finished with at least 10 wins and six wrestlers (Burg, Haferkorn, Ohman, Jacob Hillshafer, Breyson Kelley and Diego Morales) all finished with at least 16 wins
