Lakeland steps out of conference, snaps Maranatha’s 14-match win streak

Box Score WATERTOWN, Wis. – The Lakeland College women's volleyball team got off to a fast start that carried it through in a four-set win over Maranatha Baptist University in a non-conference match Tuesday night.

Lakeland won the first two sets easily before being pushed in sets three and four. The Muskies eventually pulled through for a 25-14, 25-17, 24-26, 28-26 win to improve to 15-14 overall this year.

Lakeland hit .229 for the match with 61 kills and 21 errors and snapped the Sabercats' 14-match winning streak.
