MILWAUKEE – Taylor Gilardi (Fr.-Viroqua, Wis.) recorded the lone win for the Lakeland University wrestling team in a 47-3 dual meet loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering Friday night.

Gilardi defeated MSOE's Ryan Snyder by a 15-11 decision at 184 pounds to account for the Muskies' three points. It was his fourth dual match win in five duals this season for Lakeland, which dropped to 1-4 in duals this season.

Lakeland forfeited three matches at the lower weights to give MSOE a quick 18-point start in the match, and the Raiders also added two more wins by decision, one by technical fall and three more by pins.

Besides Gilardi, Lakeland's closest result came at 157 lbs., where Ian Gioacchini (Sr.-Kaukauna, Wis.) dropped a 10-5 decision to Jack Rathburn. Michael Grabe (Fr.-Midlothian, Ill.) also was defeated 11-5 by Duncan Heath at 197 lbs.
