A total of five seniors on the Lakeland University women's volleyball will be honored before the match when the Muskies host Rockford University Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) and
Shelby Welsh (
Ogallala, Neb.) will be recognized before the match for their contributions to the program. Four of the five are four-year members of the team, and all five are significant contributors on this year's squad, which is currently among the leaders in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
The Muskies (14-7 overall, 5-2 NACC) have been idle since a sweep of Marian last Saturday. Lakeland dominated its rival from Fond du Lac in a 25-16, 25-8, 25-15 win here at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium. Welsh finished with 10 kills and added 13 digs,
Megan Goeser (
So.-Plymouth, Wis.) chipped in nine kills and Bruder finished with 13 digs. Johnson also added four service aces as the Muskies were better in every facet and won their second straight and for the ninth time in 12 matches, with all nine of those wins coming via sweep.
Rockford (4-18 overall, 0-8 NACC) defeated by Aurora in three sets in its last time out, falling 25-15, 25-14, 25-12 at home on Tuesday. Emily Johannes finished with five kills, Jennifer Quintas also finished with a match-high 12 digs and Casey Sheetz led the team with 16 assists.
