Positioning near the top of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference is at stake when Lakeland University hosts Wisconsin Lutheran College in an important women's volleyball match Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

The Muskies and Warriors enter tied for position with matching 7-1 records in conference. The two teams are also part of a quartet of four teams with one loss each at the top of the NACC, right with Concordia Wisconsin (9-1 in conference) and Aurora (8-1).

Lakeland (13-13 overall) enters off a split of two matches Saturday afternoon, including a three-set sweep of NACC foe Edgewood plus a five-set loss to Central (Iowa). The Muskies won their seventh straight in conference play with the the win over the Eagles, also backing up a sweep of Rockford the night before.

Wisconsin Lutheran (13-9 overall) also won twice in NACC play last weekend, first sweeping Illinois Tech on Friday before rallying from a 2-1 deficit for a five-set win Saturday against Concordia Chicago.
