The Lakeland University baseball team has a new date set for its Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader against Concordia University Chicago, the latest spring schedule change for Muskies athletic teams.

Lakeland will now face the Cougars on Wednesday, April 17 starting at noon. Due to forecasted rain in the Sheboygan area the next couple days, the games also now will be moved to CUC's home field in River Forest, Ill.

The games originally were scheduled for Sunday before being postponed due to snow. Concordia is currently the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA Division III in the American Baseball Coaches Association and D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association polls.

Also on Tuesday, the Lakeland softball team's doubleheader at Wisconsin Lutheran College was postponed again due to poor field conditions in Milwaukee. The games originally were scheduled for Sunday but were postponed to Tuesday. The games will be rescheduled again, but no date has been set at this time.
