The Lakeland University baseball team once again received high grades for the 2025-26 school year when it received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced last week by the ABCA.

The Muskies received the honor for the third straight year under head coach Kevin Post. The award highlights teams coached by ABCA members that posted a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2025-26 academic year.

Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with the award, with nearly 500 collegiate programs and more than 300 high school programs receiving the honor.
