The Lakeland men's basketball program has added another camp this summer and will host the 2021 College Basketball Experience Camp in June.
The camp will take place Monday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wehr Center on campus and is for boys entering grades 9-12.
The camp goal is to provide a unique experience on what it is like to practice and be coached at the college level. The camp will be held at the same intensity level of a college practice.
Lakeland's coaching staff will teach offensive and defensive tactics used at the college level. Skill development and fundamental drill work will be heavily emphasized. Each player will receive one-on-one and group coaching.
A brief campus tour will also be provided, and there will be an informational session on the recruiting and college admissions process.
Cost for the camp is $60. Lunch will be provided for all campers, and campers will also receive a camp T-shirt.
