Season Highlights

- Finished third in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, placing in the top four in the NACC for the eighth straight year.
- Team's 8-2 record with an .800 winning percentage was its best winning percentage in a full season since 2003.
- Larry Rivers set six school records, including single-season rushing mark of 1,521 yards, breaking his former mark of 1,375 set two years earlier. He also broke long-standing single-season records for touchdowns (22) and points scored (132), breaking the touchdowns record set by Pat Curran in 1967 and again in 1968 and Curran's season scoring record of 128 points set in 1967. Rivers also set a new school mark for rushing touchdowns in a season (19), breaking Curran's record of 18 set in 1967.
- Rivers also set a new single-game touchdowns record with six against Wisconsin Lutheran Sept. 18. He also in that game tied Curran's school mark for points in a game with 36.
- Rivers also built on his school career rushing yards record and finished his Muskies career with 4,557 yards. He also finished fourth in program history in touchdowns (45) and points scored (280).
- Charles Kobe set a Lakeland record and tied a 42-year old NCAA Division III single-game record with three blocked punts against Eureka Oct. 30, becoming the sixth player in D-III history to block three punts in a game.
- Peyton Domangue set a new school single-season record for successful point-after-touchdown kicks, with hits 53 made PATs breaking the mark of 47 set by Peter Cebulka in 1996.
- Brice Kensey tied a school and NACC single-game record for touchdown receptions with four against Rockford in the season finale Nov. 13, including tying the Lakeland record set by Dezmon Eddie Sept. 29, 2018. He also tied a school record for receptions in a game with 17 against Concordia Wisconsin Oct. 23.
- Kensey became the third Muskie in school history to post a 1,000-yard receiving season with 1,035 yards. His 75 receptions also are the third-most in school history, and his 202 receiving yards against Rockford were the second-most in a game in school history.
- Otis Watts set a new NACC single-season record for sacks with 12.
- Charl'Tez Nunnery passed for 29 touchdowns and totaled 3,230 yards of total offense, both the fourth-highest single-season totals in Muskies history. Nunnery also finished fourth all-time for Lakeland in career total offense (7,230) and fifth in touchdown passes (56).
- Nunnery and Mason Prunick connected for a 91-yard touchdown pass against St. Norbert Sept. 25, tied for the fourth-longest pass play in school history.
- Muskies' 45.1 points scored per game were the second-best season number in school history, behind only the undefeated 1997 team (45.5 points per game). Its 451 points scored also were the third-most in a season in school history, behind only 2017 (465 points) and 1997 (455 points).
- Team scored at least 40 points in eight of team's 10 games
- Rivers led NCAA Division III in scoring per game (13.2 points) and finished in the top 10 in Division III in eight statistical categories.
- Muskies led NACC in six categories: scoring, total offense, rushing yards per game, first downs/game, sacks and defensive touchdowns
- Rivers led the NACC in total rushing yards (1,521), rushing yards/game (152.1), rushing touchdowns (19), points (132), points/game (13.2), all-purpose yards (1,781), all-purpose yards/game (178.1) and rushing attempts (220). He also ranked second in the conference in yards per carry (6.9).
- Nunnery ranked 3rd in NACC in passing efficiency (154.3); 4th in total passing yards (2,590), passing yards/game (259.0) and passing touchdowns (29); 5th in completions (170) and completion percentage (56.9%); 7th in rushing yards (662), rushing yards/game (66.2) and yards/carry (5.0) and tied for 7th in rushing touchdowns (8).
- Kensey ranked 2nd in NACC in receptions (75) and punt return yards (108); 3rd in receiving yards (1,035), receiving touchdowns (12) and points per game (10.3) and 6th in total points scored (72).
- Prunick tied for 6th in NACC in receiving touchdowns (9) and finished 8th in receiving yards/game (68.8) and 9th in receiving yards (688).
- Otis Watts led the NACC in sacks (12) and tackles for loss (18) and also tied for the conference lead in fumble recoveries (2).
- Shazon Crutcher finished third in NACC in tackles (95) and tackles/game (9.5), tied for 4th in tackles for loss (9.5), tied for 6th in interceptions (3) and 8th in sacks (3.5)
- Chris Daniels finished 3rd in NACC in tackles for loss (10) and tied for 4th in sacks (4).
- Rayshion Brumfield finished second in NACC in pass breakups (10) and tied for 3rd in interceptions (5).
- D'Jimon Stuckey tied for 4th in NACC in sacks (4) and tied for 7th in tackles for loss (8).
- Jayson Wilder tied for 5th in NACC in pass breakups (8) and tied for 6th in interceptions (3).
- Andrew Cardiel tied for 6th in NACC in interceptions (3).
- Charles Kobe led NACC in blocked kicks (3).
- Domangue tied for NACC lead in PATs made (53) and finished second in points kicking (59).
- Devin Martin finished 6th in NACC in yards/kick return (17.0) and 9th in total kick return yards (272).
