WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Lakeland University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 23rd annual Warrior Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College Saturday.
The Muskies sent a trio of runners to compete in the event, which was held at Greenfield Park.
Travis Eitel (
Jr.-Pine Island, Minn.) was the Muskies' top finisher in the men's eight-kilometer race, coming in 88th in a big field of more than 160 finishers. Eitel finished in 31 minutes, 13.7 seconds.
Owen Luedtke (
Jr.-Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) also competed in the men's race and finished in 35:43.7.
Emma Ziepke (
Fr.-Manawa, Wis.) was the lone finisher for Lakeland in the 6K women's race. Ziepke finished in 29:43.1.
The Muskies will compete next in the Wisconsin Private College Championships held Oct. 14 at Leeson Park in Beloit.
