The Lakeland University men's basketball squad received individual and team honors when National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its academic awards for the 2023-24 school year Monday.

The Muskies collectively received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, which recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

In addition, Gabe Ascher (Wautoma, Wis.), Kai Buliox (Milwaukee, Wis.), Isaiah Hammond (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Cam Jaeger (Oostburg, Wis.) all were named to the NABC Honors Court for their academic achievements.
