A total of 18 members of the Lakeland University softball team have been honored with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Easton Scholar-Athlete Awards for the 2024-25 school year.
Student-athletes qualify for the award for achieving a 3.5 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the preceding school year. More than 8,000 athletes receive the award across NCAA Divisions I, II and III, the NAIA, junior colleges and other four-year school ranks last year.
