The Lakeland University men's basketball squad again received team and individual honors when National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its academic awards for the 2024-25 school year Thursday.
The Muskies collectively received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, which recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In addition,
Jaxson Dillon (
Menasha, Wis.),
Isaiah Hammond (
Milwaukee, Wis.),
Asanjai Hunter (
Racine, Wis.),
Peyton Mrotek (
Luxemburg, Wis.) and
Tim Ward (
Plainfield, Ill.) all were named to the NABC Honors Court for their academic achievements. Hammond graduated from Lakeland in May with a degree in sport management and leadership, Dillon and Mrotek are both majoring in sport management and leadership, and Hunter and Ward are both majoring in business administration.
The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards include honorees from all levels of college basketball.
Over 2,400 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and nearly 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2024-25. A full list of Honors Court recipients is available by
