The Lakeland College Women's Soccer team stayed with the Redmen of Carthage until the 31st minute when the Muskies sweeper
Tracy Bins was knocked out of the game with an injury. The Redmen took advantage quickly as they scored just seconds after the injury and never looked back as they coasted to a 7-1 victory.
The lone goal for the Muskies was scored by senior striker
Amanda Smith (Neenah, WI). Smith tucked away a nice finish into the back of the Carthage goal in the 85th minute.
The Muskies return to action on Sunday when they travel to Illinois to take on Aurora University. Game time is set for 2 pm.
