The Lakeland College women's soccer team completed a perfect 2-0 weekend Sunday morning, shutting out Finlandia 4-0 in a non-conference match.
Freshman Hannah Landgraf put the Muskies on the scoreboard at 7:59 with her fourth goal of the season on a pass from
Celine Elzinga. She recorded her second point of the game by assisting under three minutes later on
Maria Santelli's second goal of the year.
Jessica Hopfinger added a goal at 23:27 as Lakeland took a 3-0 lead into the half.
Kristina Borts scored the Muskies' final goal of the afternoon at 51:54, her team-leading fifth goal of the season.
Lakeland dominated possession, firing 22 total shots and controlled the tempo the entire match as Finlandia failed to record a shot.
The Muskies will hope to continue their win streak on Tuesday when they travel to Watertown for a 3:30 contest against Maranatha.
