Early goals cost Muskies against Concordia Wisconsin

Four goals early in the first half doomed the Lakeland College women's soccer team in its final match of the season Wednesday afternoon as the Muskies fell 7-0 to Concordia Wisconsin.

Casey Pulver scored twice and Emily Waldorf added a goal and two assists as the Falcons scored their first goal of the day just three minutes into the contest. They scored three more in the next 14 minutes of the first half to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.

Lakeland applied offensive pressure for much of the first half and recorded all four of its shots in the first 45 minutes. Dana Schmidt had the lone shot on goal from 40 yards out.

Concordia had nine players register at least one point as six different players tallied a goal.

Lakeland ends its season with a final record of 4-15.
