The Lakeland University women's soccer team closes out its season Wednesday evening with a home game when it hosts Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7 p.m. at Taylor Field.

The Muskies (5-12 overall, 1-8 NACC) will ride their good record in home matches this year (5-3) in taking a shot at upsetting one of the top teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Lakeland will try to prevent MSOE (10-8 overall, 8-1 NACC) from clinching the regular season title, as the Raiders need a win to overtake Dominican University for the title and the top seed in the NACC Tournament.

Both teams come in off losses, as the Muskies were defeated by Aurora University 11-0 on Sunday, while MSOE dropped a 4-2 decision at home to UW-La Crosse. Lakeland did win its last time out at home, rolling past Alverno College 6-0 Saturday night.
