The Lakeland University women's soccer team will take the field bright and early Saturday morning when it hosts the University of Wisconsin-Superior for a 9 a.m. kickoff at Taylor Field.
The Muskies and Yellowjackets will meet for the third straight year, with Lakeland sporting a 1-0-1 record in those meetings over the last two years. The teams played to a scoreless tie a year ago in Superior, while the Muskies pulled out a 1-0 win the year before at home.

The Muskies (1-1 overall) have been idle since Sunday, when they defeated Blackburn (Ill.) 2-1 in double overtime on the road in Carlinville, Ill.
Rachel Hasko scored both goals for Lakeland nearly 95 minutes apart, including the game-winner 2:19 into the second overtime period.
UW-Superior is 0-2 on the season, having opened with a trip to Texas to face Austin College and Howard Payne. UW-Superior lost its opener to Austin 3-1 last Friday and then forfeited its match against Howard Payne this past Sunday after trailing 1-0 at halftime.
