Series history: 32nd meeting, MSOE leads 17-14
Milwaukee School of Engineering is one of Lakeland's most-played opponents. MSOE won the most recent meeting with a 5-0 victory at John Taylor Memorial Field Sept. 25, 2019. The Raiders have won the last 12 on the field against the Muskies, though their 2018 win was forfeited after later finding an ineligible player was used. The series has been dominated by three winning streaks. The Raiders won the first six meetings, including the first meeting ever Oct. 28, 1995, and then posted a 10-game winning streak prior to the forfeit in 2018. In between, the Muskies won 13 straight, including their last win over MSOE by a 2-1 score Oct. 10, 2007 when Elisa Waltz and Jacqui Drexler scored goals.

Lakeland last time out: Lost at Edgewood 1-0 Friday
The Muskies lost a tough one on Good Friday, as the Eagles scored the game's only goal in the 79th minute. Siobhan Gallagher found the net on a free kick from 25 yards out with 11:33 left in regulation, and Lakeland was unable to seriously challenge after in dropping to 2-3 overall and in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference North Division. Erin Tomlinson made 11 saves in goal for the Muskies, who were outshot 27-7 and saw the Eagles post a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal. Kenia Bustos recorded two of the three shots on goal five seconds apart midway through the second half with a pair of good chances stoned by Edgewood goalkeeper Grace Wildeboer.

MSOE last time out: Defeated Edgewood 4-0 last Wednesday
The Raiders also faced the Eagles in their most recent game and have been idle since a shutout win last week. MSOE scored all four of its goals in the second half, with Brooke Zidek scoring the first in the 52nd minute. Nikki Ratts and Olivia Carroll also added goals and Edgewood contributed an own goal. The Raiders dominated possession with a 35-1 advantage in shot attempts, with Carroll leading with seven shots.

About the Raiders: MSOE has been a regular contender in the NACC in recent seasons with five straight top-four finishes in the conference, including regular season championships in 2016 and 2017 and conference tourney titles and NCAA Division III Tournament berths in 2015 and 2016. The Raiders this year have four wins all but shutouts, including 3-0 wins over Marian, Concordia Chicago and Wisconsin Lutheran, and their one loss was a 3-1 defeat to Concordia Wisconsin.

Ahead of pace scoring: Lakeland has scored a goal in four of its first five matches, a modest sample size but an early trend that compares favorably to the 2019 season, when the Muskies scored in just six of their 18 matches while finishing 3-14-1. Six different players have scored goals this season, with Amanda Buckler (3) and Faith Turley (2) leading with multiple goals while Amanda Heimos, Desi Jacobson, Marlen Reyes Robelo and Rachel Wilson all scoring one goal each.
