Home for just the second time in seven games, the Lakeland University women's soccer team faces defending Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champion Dominican University for a 2:30 p.m. start Saturday at Taylor Field.

Series history:Â 21st meeting, Dominican leads 16-4
The Stars have dominated the series with the Muskies for the last 15 years, winning 15 consecutive matchups dating back to 2006. Dominican won last year's meeting 5-0 in River Forest, Ill., Sept. 18, 2021, scoring three times in the first half and two more in the second. The Stars posted a 4-0 win in the last matchup here at Lakeland Sept. 29, 2018, and have won via shutout in the last ten meetings. The Muskies' last win over Dominican was a 2-1 win in double overtime Oct. 21, 2006, as Laura Engel scored 2:41 into the second overtime period.
Lakeland last time out: Lost at St. Norbert 7-1 Wednesday
The Muskies trailed just 2-1 late in the first half after
Alondra Reyes scored her fifth goal of the season, but the Green Knights would score before intermission and then tallied twice in the first 3:07 after halftime to take a commanding lead. Lakeland lost its Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference opener after posting a 3-2 record in non-conference matches.
Haley Rich made 11 saves in goal as St. Norbert finished with a 27-3 advantage in shot attempts.
Dominican last time out: Won at Illinois Tech 1-0 Wednesday
The defending NACC champions, the Stars picked up a key victory to open their conference season, scoring early in the second half and holding on to win an evenly played match with the Scarlet Hawks. Natalia Lopez provided the match's only goal in the 59th minute and Dominican won for the first time in five matches, after two ties and two losses in their previous four matches.
Over 200: Lakeland goalkeeper
Haley Rich has topped 200 saves for her career, reaching that milestone Sunday against Lawrence. In her second season as the starter, Rich enters Saturday with 214 career saves as well as seven wins, three shutouts and a career 3.26 goals against average in 28 career matches in goal, starting 25 of those.
