Three members of the Lakeland University women's tennis team and two members of the Muskies men's tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) NCAA Division III Academic All-District Teams for their respective sports, as the organization announced its season tennis awards Tuesday.

Kelnhofer carries a double major in computer science and business administration and was the team's No. 6 singles player this season, tying for second on the team with five singles wins.
Bianchi has already completed his undergraduate degree in business administration with an international emphasis in finance and health care management, and is currently working on his MBA. Vorpahl carries a double major in education (K-9) and music performance (vocal) and was the team's No. 1 singles player this year. Bianchi was the squad's No. 2 singles player much of the year, and the two also played together at No. 1 singles for most of the season.
The 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's and women's tennis honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced May 31.
