PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Milwaukee School of Engineering posted four victories by pin and won seven of 10 matches overall to defeat the Lakeland University men's wrestling team 35-15 in a dual Tuesday night at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

Fulton Stroud (Fr.-Iron Mountain, Mich.) earned a win for the Muskies but MSOE won seven of the eight contested matches. The Raiders piled up points by coming through late in a number of matches and Lakeland dropped to 0-2 in duals this season.

Stroud went the distance at 184 pounds but blanked MSOE's Joe Rainieri 4-0. The Muskies also picked up wins by forfeit at 149 lbs. and in the heavyweight class.

The Raiders received pins in the opening two matches of the dual at 125 and 133 lbs., and added a tech fall victory at 141 lbs. MSOE then began an opportunistic run that included a pins at 157 and 197 lbs., with less than a minute left in both matches. The Raiders also earned a hard-fought victory at 174 lbs., where Lakeland's David Aragon (Sr.-West Allis, Wis.) led much of the way but Diego Snell-Martinez rallied late for a 14-11 decision.

MSOE's Toren VandenBush also added a win over Evan Haferkorn (So.-Norway, Mich.) at 165 lbs. by a 9-4 decision. The Muskies did win two of the three exhibition matches held before and after the dual, including Wyatt Raab (Jr.-Spalding, Mich.) blanking Anthony Megal 11-0 and Will Ohman (Fr.-Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.) rallying late for a 9-6 decision over Connor Nagela.

Lakeland takes a break for a couple weeks and competes next Saturday, Dec. 14, when it travels to the Art Kraft Memorial Tournament hosted by Triton College in River Grove, Ill.
