Lakeland University men's soccer student-athletes
Jordan Davis-Troller (
Sr.-Cottage Grove, Wis.) and
Justin Cain (
So.-Houston, Texas) both received academic honors when College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) recently released its NCAA Division III Academic All-District Teams.
The awards are based on combined performances in the classroom and on the court. To be eligible, the nominee must be a starter or important reserve, have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
Kitsembel is majoring in business administration, has been a key player on the Muskies' attack for four years, and this year was named a second team all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection. Cain is majoring in exercise science and is a two-year starter on the Lakeland defense.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions-NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
