The Lakeland University men's soccer team welcomes a total of 25 newcomers from eight different states to its roster this season.

The group of new Muskies for Head Coach Kyle Quintell includes 14 newcomers from Wisconsin plus four more from Illinois. The new class also includes student-athletes from Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida and Missouri.

"We are extremely excited to welcome this class to Lakeland University and our men's soccer program," said Quintell. "This group increases our level, growth and advancement of our program. After winning the most games in a season in twelve years last fall, we believe this group helps us take the next step in the program's development.

"This incoming class is very special as it brings pedigree, diversity and experience to the program. Having eight different states represented in the incoming class, from different backgrounds, we believe this group mixed with our returners will continue to elevate us to the goals and standard we are trying to achieve."

The Muskies posted a 7-10-2 overall record and finished 2-8-2 in the NACC last year in Quintell's second year leading the program. The seven wins were the program's most since 2013, and Lakeland's five home wins last year were its most in a season since 2004.
