The Lakeland University women's basketball team is home for the second time this season when it welcomes UW-Stevens Point for a 7 p.m. tip-off in a matchup of unbeaten teams Tuesday night at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
The Muskies and Pointers will meet for the fifth straight year, with UWSPÂ having defeated Lakeland four straight years. The Muskies already defeated a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team for the first time in seven years when they defeated UW-River Falls in the season opener, though, and now will try to top Stevens Point for the first time since 1998.
Â
Lakeland (2-0 overall) most recently defeated Lawrence by a 66-46 score last Thursday.
Megan Will (
So.-Lake Mills, Wis.) scored 14 points and added nine rebounds and three blocked shots andÂ
Abby Nylund (

UW-Stevens Point also enters at 2-0 after winning both games in its season-opening home Tip-Off Classic this past weekend, including slipping past Luther (Iowa) 72-69 in its second game on Saturday.
