The Lakeland University women's basketball team closes out a stretch of three straight games at home and looks for a sweep of rival Concordia University Wisconsin Saturday at 4:15 p.m.

Broadcast Information: Live audio/video/statistics are all available to follow along with at http://www.lakelandmuskies.com/muskieslive. Andy Damp is again calling the play-by-play for all home basketball games this year.

Series history: Lakeland and Concordia are long-time rivals with a series dating back to when both schools began women's basketball in the 1970s. Complete series records are unavailable, but in Lakeland records dating back to 1982 the Falcons hold a 49-40 lead in 89 meetings. The Muskies won the teams' first meeting this season, taking a 62-54 victory Dec. 3, 2019 in Mequon. The teams played three times last year, with Lakeland winning two regular season matchups, both in overtime. The Muskies prevailed 77-70 at home Dec. 4, 2018 and also won 89-81 at Concordia Feb. 2, 2019. The Falcons had the last word less than three weeks later, though, rolling past the Muskies 90-63 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinals on Feb. 22, 2019.

Lakeland last time out: Defeated MSOE 76-60 Wednesday
Janai' Farr drilled a career-high seven three-pointers, part of the Muskies' hottest shooting night of the season, as they defeated MSOE. Lakeland shot a season-best 50.9% from the field, making 29 of 57 field goals to snap a brief two-game losing streak. Farr scored a career-high 23 points, the most points by a Lakeland player this season, hitting 8 of 13 from the field including 7 of 9 from three-point range. She also hit the most three-pointers in a game for a Muskie since Peggy Keiper made eight triples Dec. 5, 2007 against MSOE. Megan Will finished with a double-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Concordia last time out: Defeated Rockford 102-39 last Saturday
The Falcons have been idle since last Saturday but in their most recent game set three school records last Saturday in a blowout win in Rockford. The Falcons set new marks for points (102), three-pointers (16) and assists in a game (30) while also holding the Regents to 11 points or less in each quarter. Six players scored in double figures for the Falcons, including Clara Chambers and Emily Hafemann who each recorded 15 points. Lindsay Glaeser scored 13 off the bench, and Reagan Obry led the Falcons with five assists.

About the Falcons: The Falcons are 12-8 overall, but 11 of those 12 wins have come during NACC play to push Concordia into fourth place in the NACC standings. Concordia has been a perennial contender in the NACC under coach Stacey Brunner-Jones, never finishing lower than fourth in the conference since its first year in 2005-06. Emily Hafemann leads CUW averaging almost 14 points per game on 48.8% shooting from the field, which is fifth-best in the NACC, and 40.7% shooting from beyond the arc, which is fourth-best in the NACC.

Recapping the first meeting: The Muskies performed a stunning turnaround in the teams' first game in December, scoring the last 17 points of the game to earn their first win of the season. Lakeland held Concordia scoreless for the final 8:30 of the game, forcing eight turnovers in the final quarter and rallying after being down 14 in the second half. Megan Will finished with 18 points and eight rebounds, and Abby Nylund added 11 points and seven rebounds in the victory.
