Lakeland University senior
Megan Will (
Lake Mills, Wis.) has earned all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference women's basketball first team honors for the third straight year as the conference released its postseason honors Friday morning.
Will was named a first team all-North Division selection after the shortened 2020-21 season, which saw the NACC divide teams into North and South divisions for this season only. She was previously named a first team all-NACC selection each of the past two years, and with this year's honor becomes Lakeland's second player to receive first team honors three times since the conference was formed in 2006, joining
Bailey Grayvold (first team 2015-17).
Will had another productive season as the focal point of the Muskies' offensive attack. The 6-foot-3 post averaged 12.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, shooting 51.6% from the field and 77.3% from the free throw line.
Will led the Muskies in scoring, rebounding and blocks and was second in field goal percentage. She also ranked second in the NACC in blocked shots, third in rebounding and fifth in field goal percentage.
Will also topped the 1,000-point mark for her career during the season, becoming the 14th player in Lakeland women's basketball history to reach 1,000 points. She finished the season with 1,079 career points, 13th-best all-time for the Muskies, and also is second in school history in blocked shots (160) and 10th in rebounds (596).
Lakeland finished the season with a 6-6 record and tied for fourth in the North Division with a 5-5 record. The Muskies' season ended with a loss to eventual conference champion Wisconsin Lutheran College in the NACC Tournament divisional semifinals.
