EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Tyler Lovejoy (Sr.-Evergreen Park, Ill.) and Nidal Farah (So.-Ventura, Calif.) scored wins for the Lakeland University men's wrestling team at the 8 Man Battles event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Saturday.

Lovejoy recorded a win in the seventh-place match in the gold division at 184 pounds. He defeated Jonah Siebert of Buena Vista (Iowa) University with a pin in 2 minutes, 58 seconds to score the Muskies' six points in the team standings and pace a group of four wrestlers competing for Lakeland.

Farah competed at 197 lbs. and won his second and final match of the day. He pinned James Diaz of St. John's (Minn.) University in 5:47, following up a loss to Marcus Hankins of UW-Eau Claire in his opener.

Lakeland is idle over Thanksgiving weekend but next will compete at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Open Saturday, Dec. 3 starting at 9 a.m. in Milwaukee.
