WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Emma Ziepke (Fr.-Manawa, Wis.) scored a school record and one of 13 personal bests on the day for the Lakeland University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams at the Green & White Invite hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College Saturday at Raabe Stadium.

Ziepke ran the women's 800 meters in 2 minutes, 33.64 seconds, finishing second in her heat and eighth overall individually. She was nearly a second faster than her previous best and broke the former record of 2:34.03 set by Nathalie Cairo in 2019.

The day's standout performances also included Muse Abdi (So.-Mankato, Minn.), who finished second in the men's long jump. Abdi leaped a personal best of 6.84 meters (22 feet, 5 1/4 inches), and his mark is the best this season in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. He also added a PR in the 100 meters with a time of 11.53, more than half a second better than his previous best (12.04).

Dakota Aschenbach (So.-Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) notched a best in the javelin with a throw of 97-10 (26.61m) to finish seventh. He also was ninth in the high jump with a best of 5-6 (1.68m).

Chris Crawford (Jr.-Chicago, Ill.) added PRs in both the 100 (12.26) and 200 (24.70), including chopping more than a second off his prior best in the 200 (25.86). Parker Giese (Fr.-West Bend, Wis.) also reset his best time in the 200, finishing in 25.36.

Jake Lemke (Fr.-West Bend, Wis.) and Kevon Holbrook (Sr.-Kankakee, Ill.) both set bests in the 400, with Lemke finishing in 54.13 and Holbrook in 56.55, more than a second better than his previous top time (57.64). Owen Luedtke (So.-Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) also competed in the 800 and finished in 2:26.80, and Eduardo Campuzano (Fr.-Hinckley, Ill.) crossed in the 1500 in 4:43.97, a personal best by more than five seconds.

Ziepke also competed in the women's 1500 and finished 12th with a time of 5:29.43. Heather Klepin (Fr.-Sheboygan, Wis.) set a PR in the 200 with a time of 30.33, and Chloe Cunningham (Sr.-Oviedo, Fla.) also blew away her previous best in the 200 with a time of 32.26, a full second above her previous low mark.
