PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Diego Morales (Fr.-Cedar Grove, Wis.) was a double winner and the Lakeland University men's wrestling team won five matches by pin in a dual with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Thursday night at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

The Muskies won seven of 12 matches in the non-traditional dual with the Titans, where no team scores were kept as 12 matches at various weights were arranged between the two teams. Several wrestlers competed twice on the night including Morales, who won twice at 285 pounds for Lakeland.

Morales won the second match of the night, pinning UWO's Camden Harms in 3 minutes, 54 seconds. He also added a win by technical fall later in the evening, defeating Guyon Cyprian 15-0 for the Muskies' sixth win.

On "Pizza for Pins Night" with two fans receiving a free slice of pizza every time a Muskie pinned his opponent, Lakeland grapplers fed a number of fans in the stands, starting with the very first match of the night. Reagan Bowerman (Fr.-Munising, Mich.) took down Oshkosh's Ira Schlottke in just 1:22 in the night's opening match, and Morales and Evan Haferkorn (Fr.-Norway, Mich.) followed with wins, including Haferkorn by technical fall over UWO's Joey Spizziri.

Wyatt Raab (So.-Spalding, Mich.) also added a pin of the Titans' Andrew Schad in 2:18 in a match at 149 lbs., and Shoichi Hashimoto (So.-Katori, Chiba, Japan) then earned a pin of Schlottke in 1:58, also at 149 lbs. Parker Stroud (Fr.-Iron Mountain, Mich.) recorded Lakeland's final win, defeating Spizziri by fall in just 55 seconds at 165 lbs.

The Muskies are home again for their next event, taking on Carthage College in a dual next Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Woltzen Gymnasium.
