Chloe Bartlett (
Fr.-Canton, Ill.) reset her school record in the long jump as the Lakeland University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at the St. Norbert Invitational on a warm and windy day Saturday.
Bartlett posted a best jump of 16 feet, 10 1/2 inches (5.14 meters) to place seventh in the women's long jump. She outdid her previous best by nearly nine full inches, breaking her previous mark of 16-1 3/4 (4.90m) set earlier in the season.

Emma Ziepke (
So.-Manawa, Wis.) and
Emily Guy (
Fr.-Glendale Heights, Ill.) led the Muskies women's team to a number of scoring finishes, as the squad finished sixth of 10 teams with 19 points.
Ziepke on her birthday finished fourth in the 800-meter run, winning her heat with a time of 2 minutes, 34.57 seconds. Both Bartlett and Ziepke also posted personal bests in the 200, with Bartlett finishing in 27.83 and Ziepke right behind in 27.91.
Guy finished third in the triple jump with a PR of 33-7 1/4 (10.24m), more than two feet better than her best set one week earlier. She also tied her fastest time in finishing seventh in the 100 hurdles (18.16) and added a fifth-place finish in the 400 hurdles (1:13.91).
The Lakeland men's team sent a small contingent highlighted by
Jake Lemke (
So.-West Bend, Wis.), who finished fifth in the javelin with a throw of 132-10 (40.49m). He also competed in the long jump with a best of 19-11 1/2 (6.08m).
Eduardo Campuzano (
So.-Hinckley, Ill.) recorded the men's team's best finish, coming in fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:31.60.
Marlon Stewart (
Fr.-Manitowoc, Wis.) also competed in the high jump, topping out at 5-8 3/4 (1.75m).
St. Norbert Invitational Results
The Muskies were back at St. Norbert for the second time in three days, having also competed in the SNC Midweek Invitational on Thursday.
Ziepke posted a victory for Lakeland in the women's 400 meters, finishing with a time of 1:01.92 to best a field of eight competitors. She also placed third in the 200, finishing in 28.53. Guy also came in second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:13.36.
John Cole (Fr.-Manitowoc, Wis.) placed second in the men's 200 in 23.38 and also came in third in the 100, where he posted a PR of 11.45 seconds.
Parker Giese (
So.-West Bend, Wis.) also posted personal records in the 100 (12.10) and 200 (25.23) and Lemke finished second in the javelin with a throw of 150-9 (45.96m).
The Muskies now get ready for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Championships, coming this Friday and Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran College's Raabe Stadium in Wauwatosa.
