PLYMOUTH, Wis. –
Evan Haferkorn (

Lakeland also added a win at 197 lbs. where senior
David Aragon (
West Allis, Wis.) was the recipient of a forfeit to give the Muskies a 16-7 lead. Aurora would win the final four matches, though, including a pair of technical fall wins at 133 lbs. and 141 lbs., the latter giving the Spartans a 21-16 lead. The final match between

So.-Cedar Grove, Wis.) and the Spartans' Ashton Massaro at 149 lbs. went down to the wire, with Massaro holding on for a 7-6 decision to clinch the dual win.
The night included the Muskies' two seniors honored at halftime, with Aragon and
Lucas Schanen (
Muskego, Wis.) both recognized, including Schanen who will graduate from Lakeland in May in three years.
Lakeland and Aurora will meet again next Friday when the Muskies host the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Showcase, with competition beginning at 4 p.m. The two teams will be joined by Concordia University Wisconsin and Milwaukee School of Engineering for the first-ever event.
