KENOSHA, Wis. – Jalah Wilson (Fr.-Phoenix, Ill.) earned three wins for the Lakeland University women's wrestling team as it competed at the Carthage College Classic Sunday.

Wilson led a small contingent of Muskies wrestlers by placed sixth in the 160-pound class. She posted a 3-2 record on the day, including winning her first two matches with a pin of Abbey Boersma of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a 3-1 decision over Carthage's Josie Hosea. Wilson took her first loss in the quarterfinals but bounced back for a technical fall win before dropping the fifth-place match to Clara Rice of Elmhurst (Ill.) University.

Aubrey Miller-Ramirez (Fr.-Griffith, Ind.) also added a victory at 207 lbs. Miller-Ramirez won by tech fall over Tayla Phillips of Eureka (Ill.) College before dropping her next three matches to finish fourth in the class.

Lakeland will take a break for final exams and the holiday and returns to action in the new year when it hosts its home Lakeland Scramble Monday, Jan. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
