OSHKOSH, Wis. –
Niyasia McCampbell (
Sr.-Amarillo, Texas) earned a win by technical fall for Lakeland University to provide a highlight in the Muskies' 35-14 dual loss to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Tuesday night at UWO's Kolf Sports Center.
McCampbell defeated Natalie Gratschmayr via technical fall by an 11-0 score in 57 seconds at 207 pounds. She registered the lone win for the Muskies in four contested matches in the dual.
Olivia Hovey (
So.-Rio Rancho, N.M.) and
Jalah Wilson (
Fr.-Phoenix, Ill.) also added forfeit wins for Lakeland, Hovey at 145 lbs. and Wilson at 160 lbs. UW-Oshkosh added four wins by forfeit plus wins by fall at 131, 138 and 180 lbs.
Lakeland next competes in the Loras College Open on Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa, with wrestling starting at 9 a.m.
