RIPON, Wis. – Emily Guy (So.-Glendale Heights, Ill.) and Dylan Rouse (Jr.-Kieler, Wis.) both improved on season-best times to pace the Lakeland University men's and women's track & field teams at the Dick Hendricks Invite hosted by Ripon College Saturday.

Guy ran her fastest time of the season in the women's 60-meter hurdles at 10.93 seconds, finishing 16th in the event overall with a time more than a tenth better than her previous best. She also set a new season low in the 200 with a time of 30.80, nearly half a second below her previous fastest time.

Rouse also posted his best time of the season in the men's 400. The junior ran the event in 58.49 to finish 13th, knocking nearly a full second off his previous low.

Preston Dos Santos (Fr.-Random Lake, Wis.) also had a pair of top-20 finishes for the Muskies men's team. He placed 10th in the triple jump with a best of 11.46 meters (37 feet, 7 1/4 inches) and also was 16th in the long jump with a mark of 5.62m (18-5 1/4). Eduardo Campuzano (Jr.-Hinckley, Ill.) also was 19th in the men's mile with a time of 5:16.85.

Lakeland also competed in the sprint medley relay and placed fourth of four teams. The quartet of Campuzano, Dos Santos, Morgan Caho (Fr.-Canton, Ill.) and Dunia Wangu (Fr.-Milwaukee, Wis.) finished in 4:03.79.

The Muskies compete next at the Titan Challenge hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday, Feb. 22 starting at 10 a.m. in Oshkosh.
