Series history: Lakeland and Concordia are long-time rivals dating back to when both schools began women's basketball in the 1970s. Complete series records are unavailable, but in Lakeland records dating back to 1982 the Falcons hold a 54-43 lead in 97 meetings. The teams met at CUW late last season, with the Muskies winning 65-64 on Feb. 10, 2024 on a game-winning basket by Jenna Caterino to cap a game in which she scored a career-high 17 points. The teams last met at Lakeland in the 2023, with Concordia winning 71-63 at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium in the teams' regular season finale. The teams have nearly split their last 15 meetings, with CUW holding a slim 8-7 lead dating back to Lakeland's 64-60 win in the 2017 NACC Tournament championship game at Concordia that clinched the Muskies their most recent NCAA Division III Tournament berth. Before that, Concordia dominated the series from 2007-17, winning 20 of 23 matchups.

Lakeland last time out: Lost at Benedictine 82-46 Saturday
The Muskies made their way down to Lisle on Saturday for the teams' second meeting this season, but the Eagles started the game fast making their first eight shots and never trailed. The Muskies were never able to get the offense going, shooting 25% from the field. Benedictine started hot and stayed hot, shooting 55.8% while also outrebounding Lakeland 41-34. The Muskies were able to force 26 turnovers and Halle Boldt led the team with 15 points, five rebounds and a team-high four steals. Lakeland continued to struggle on the road, dropping to 1-9 away from home this season versus   an 8-1 record at the Woltzen Gym.

Concordia last time out: Lost to Edgewood 64-51 Saturday
The Falcons traveled Madison to take on the Eagles, and going into halftime CUW held a 33-31 lead after a first half that included 12 ties and 10 lead changes. It was still a one-point game in the fourth quarter when Edgewood finally took control with a 14-3 run. The Falcons shot 30.4%, including 1-for-13 from three-point range, compared to the Eagles' 40.0% shooting. Aubrey DeBauch led CUW with 19 points and four rebounds and Ava Booth and Liliana Guerra both added 10 points each.

About the Falcons: Concordia holds an 8-11 overall record but is 7-3 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, coming on in conference play after struggling against a tough non-conference schedule. Falcons head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones is in her 21st season at CUW, tying her with Wisconsin Lutheran's Klay Knueppel for the longest-tenured coach in the NACC, and she has won 348 games with a career winning percentage of 66.4%. The Falcons are led by Gracie McNabb behind the arc as she is second in the NACC with 40 3-pointers. Concordia finished 12-14 overall last year and 9-7 in the NACC, and qualified for the NACC Tournament as the sixth seed, falling to Edgewood 71-54 in the quarterfinals.
