WAUWATOSA, Wis. –
Lydia Levra (
Fr.-Elk Mound, Wis.) continued her strong outdoor season performances for the Lakeland University men's and women's track & field teams as they competed at the 2025 Wisconsin Private College Championships Saturday, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College.
Levra posted a pair of top-6 finishes in sprint events, including coming in third in the women's 400 meters after winner her heat with a time of 1:01.54. Levra also posted a personal best time of 26.85 seconds to take sixth place in the women's 200 meters.
Emily Guy (
So.-Glendale Heights, Ill.) also finished eighth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:16.22. Levra and Guy combined for ten team points for the women's team, while the Muskies men's team also scored 14 points for a ninth-place finish in the team standings.
Jake Lemke (
Jr.-West Bend, Wis.) led the way for the Lakeland men's squad in the men's javelin, placing fifth with a throw of 139 feet, 4 inches (42.46 meters). The men's 4 x 100 relay team including
Morgan Caho (
Fr.-Canton, Ill.),
Preston Dos Santos (
Fr.-Random Lake, Wis.),
Parker Giese (
Jr.- West Bend, Wis.) and
Dunia Wangu (
Fr.-Milwaukee, Wis.) also finished fifth with a time of 45.89.
Caho also added a fifth-place finish in the men's high jump with a best of 5-8 3/4 (1.75m). Dos Santos also was seventh in the long jump with a mark of 19-10 1/4 (6.05m).
The Muskies also added a number of other PR's, including Wangu and Giese with new bests in the 100 of 11.63 and 12.08, respectively. Dos Santos finished the 200 in 25.6 and Caho cut nearly a second off his time in the 400, finishing in 54.69.
Lakeland will travel back to Wauwatosa again next weekend to compete in the Wisconsin Lutheran Green & White Invite held at Raabe Stadium.
