Registrations are currently being accepted for the new Lakeland Women's Basketball Skill Development Camp, to be held on Tuesdays in June and July from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on campus inside the Wehr Center.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 5-9 in the 2025-26 school year. It will include a total of six sessions and campers can register for as many sessions as they choose, as few as one session or as many as all six. The camp will give participants the opportunity to see what skills are taught at the collegiate level while working with Lakeland coaches and student-athletes.
The camp will include six different sessions:
June 10 – Dribbling & Passing
June 17 - Shooting
June 24 – Moves with the Basketball
July 1 – Cutting, Screens & Reading Defense
July 8 – Defense & Rebounding
July 15 – Positional Skill Work
Cost of the camp is $50 for one session, $100 for two sessions, $150 for three sessions, $180 for four sessions, $200 for five sessions or $220 for six sessions. Campers who register for four or more sessions will receive a camp T-shirt.
