KANSASVILLE, Wis. – Kaiden Dopp (Jr.-Wild Rose, Wis.) shot the lowest round of his collegiate career for the Lakeland University men's golf team as it competed at the Midwest Region Fall Classic at Brighton Dales Links golf course on Friday.

Dopp shot a round of one-over par 73 to lead the Muskies' abbreviated stay at the event. Originally scheduled for two days, play was stopped on the second day and not completed due to rain, resulting in the tourney being shortened to one round. With the event shortened to 18 holes, Lakeland finished 35th of 45 teams with a team score of 320.

Dopp tied for 27th individually in a huge field of 246 golfers, posting a round that included three birdies plus 11 pars. He posted a score of 37 on the front nine holes including birdies on the par-5 2nd hole and par-4 7th, and shot even par 36 over the back nine holes, including a birdie on the par-5, 476-yard 10th as he neared his finish after starting his round on the 14th hole.

Dopp finished four shots off the top individual scores of 69 posted by Riley Tanzi of Wisconsin Lutheran College and Harrison Weddell of Nebraska Wesleyan University. Dopp was just one shot out of a tie for 12th, which was shared by 15 golfers shooting scores of 72.

Brandon Bloechel (Jr.-Sheboygan, Wis.) also shot a solid round of 75 to tie for 49th, including a birdie on his second hole played, the par-4, 385-yard 13th hole. He also concluded with nine straight pars to finish his round.

Roger Sauvage (Sr.-Seattle, Wash.) posted a score of 82 to tie for 165th individually. He posted a birdie on the par-5, 501-yard 16th hole.

Parker Braun (Jr.-Brillion, Wis.) and Ayden Long (So.-Oostburg, Wis.) both finished with rounds of 90. Braun shot 45 on both the first and second nine holes, while Long posted a 46 on the first nine and a 44 on the back nine holes.
