RIPON, Wis. – The Lakeland University men's and women's track & field teams recorded three top-10 finishes at the Red Hawk Invite hosted by Ripon College Saturday.
Kaitlyn Feldmann (
Fr.-Elkhart Lake, Wis.) notched the best finish, taking seventh in the women's high jump. Feldmann topped out with a best of 4 feet, 7 inches (1.40 meters).
Preston Dos Santos (
So.-Random Lake, Wis.) placed ninth in the men's long jump, just missing a top-8 scoring finish. Dos Santos registered a best leap of 19-4 1/4 (5.90m).
Elise Brill (
Fr.-Cedar Grove, Wis.) also came in 10th in the women's 3,000-meter run. Competing in the event for the first time this season, she finished in 12 minutes, 22.38 seconds.
Morgan Caho (
So.-Canton, Ill.) also was 11th in the men's 200 (23.97) and finished 13th in the men's high jump with a best of 5-8 3/4 (1.75m).
Patrick Reilly (
Fr.-Brookfield, Wis.) took 12th in the men's 400 (56.10) and
Emily Guy (
Jr.-Glendale Heights, Ill.) was 13th in the women's 60-meter hurdles (11.60).
Lakeland goes back to Ripon this next week to compete in the Dick Hendricks Invite on Feb. 14 beginning at 11 a.m.
