PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Aleksandr Pejovski (Fr.-Merrillville, Ind.), Tyler Lovejoy (So.-Brandon, Wis.) and Nidal Farah (Fr.-Ventura, Calif.) all recorded wins as the Lakeland University men's wrestling team had several bright spots while falling to Concordia University Wisconsin 35-18 in a dual Friday night at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnaisum.

The Muskies won four matches on the mat and one more by forfeit but came up short against their longtime foe and a dual between two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin teams. Lakeland wrestled at home for the first time this season and the first time in nearly two years.

Pejovski recorded Lakeland's lone pin of the night, finishing Bryce Claypool in 3 minutes, 6 seconds at 149 pounds. Lovejoy and Farah added wins by decision, including Lovejoy building an early lead and defeating Alexandros Alexiades 11-5 at 174 lbs. Farah also earned a win in the closest match of the night, holding on for a 3-2 victory over Reid McNeill at 197 lbs.

Tristan Supernaw (Fr.-Kansas City, Mo.) also was a winner by forfeit at 125 lbs. Concordia won three matches by fall and a fourth by technical fall, and its remaining two wins came via forfeit.

Lakeland is back in action with a busy day Saturday when it competes in the CCIW Duals hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
