PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Evan Haferkorn (Jr.-Norway, Mich.) Fulton Stroud (So.-Iron Mountain, Mich.) and Rigoberto Tellez (Fr.-Oostburg, Wis.) all registered pins and the Lakeland University men's wrestling team won every match but one in a 48-6 dual victory over Concordia University Wisconsin Thursday night at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

The Muskies won claimed nine of 10 matches, including seven of the eight contested matches in winning their first dual of the season. Lakeland also defeated the Falcons for the third straight time after also sweeping two duals from Concordia last year.

Haferkorn rang up the fastest pin of the night, taking down CUW's Hunter Burr by fall at 165 pounds in just 37 seconds. Stroud followed with a pin at 174 lbs. of Dawson Galvan in 2:58.

Tellez set the tone early on with a pin of Elijah Torres in 4:18 that sandwiched around a pair of Concordia forfeits gave the Muskies an early 18-0 lead. Carson Smith (So.-Kaukauna, Wis.) and Jesse Burg (Jr.-Cedar Grove, Wis.) then posted wins by technical fall at 149 and 157 lbs., respectively.

Breyson Kelley (Fr.-Florence, Wis.) also added a 15-0 win by tech fall in just 1:25 over CUW's Tylan Watts at 184 lbs. Diego Morales (Jr.-Cedar Grove, Wis.) closed out the night with a win in the heavyweight class, taking a 6-0 decision over Kei'Aviyahn Evans.

Lakeland is in action again next at the 8-Man Battles hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire next Saturday starting at 10 a.m. in Eau Claire.
