The Lakeland University baseball team once again received high grades for academics for the 2024-25 school year when it received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced Wednesday by the ABCA.
The Muskies received the honor for the second straight year under head coach
Kevin Post. The award highlights teams coached by ABCA members that posted a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2024-25 academic year.
Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with the award, with 440 collegiate programs and nearly 300 high school programs receiving the honor. A complete list of schools receiving award is available with the ABCA's release
